I lived in south Tenerife for a year and I recall 70% of the days were cloudy, so expect some cloudy days in Puerto de la Cruz even in the summer. Mainland Spain is much warmer in the summer, costal Tenerife much warmer night time temperatures all year round.

I am planning a holiday to Puerto de la Cruz in July but i have been told that it can be very cloudy there, does anyone know if this is correct?
