Valencia daily temperature July 30, 2010

The Valencia climate is mainly Mediterranean with warm and dry summers as well as mild winters. The rainy season for Valencia is mainly in spring and autumn with torrential rainfalls happening often as well as rainfall turning inland to snow. Additionally, Valencia weather temperatures are pleasant year wide with an average temperature not falling below 15ºC, with the exception of mountainous areas where they can fall below freezing.

AUTUMN
Valencia experiences heavier rainfall and mild temperatures. Despite only having an average of 44 rainy days a year, Valencia is usually a wet place to be in Autumn, especially in September and October; this is known as the 'Gota Fria' ('cut-off low), when torrential rain falls along the Mediterranean coast with unsettled & stormy weather bringing several days of overcast weather.

WINTER
Valencia winters have clear blue skies while also being mild and pleasant. However, it gets colder when the sunset happens and afterwards. The coldest month is January with an average minimum of 7 ºC and a maximum of 16 ºC.

SPRING
The drier than autumn Valencia springs are a great time to visit the beaches in Valencia as they are not as crowded as in summer while accommodation is not at its peak. Valencia temperatures oscillate between the 14º C of March and the 18º C of May. Valencia´ sea breeze and warm mild weather makes it a great all year round destination to do kite surfing, parasailing, wind surfing, and other wind sports.

SUMMER
The hot summers in Valencia are quite warm though not unbearable. Throughout July and August the average daily temperature is about 30 ºC, accompanied by mild humidity. In June Valencia has an average daily temperature of 22 ºC, in July there are 25 ºC while August is the hottest month averaging 26 ºC with a maximum temperature of 30 ºC.
